.... Please bring both black and white tops to allow changes to be made at the game itself if necessary.
When there are late changes in personnel, or the game is reduced to a 4-a-side, please feel free to ignore my suggested line ups, as it hard to give thought to the evenness of sides on top of finding replacements.
In fact, when it's 4-a-side, just re-do the line ups at the venue itself.
It was kind of a weird game, I guess more so for me after getting used to the 8-a-sides at Turf city and a long time away from the cage.
By the way, Jiv the sides lined up as follows:-
Blacks: John J,Bobby , Yaseen, Jamil Whites: Sam, Damian, Andy N, Eam
Although Whites scored the first goal, the firepower of John, Jamil and Yas upfront really caused Whites to be camped in their half. John aggravated up an old recurring injury mid way or it wld have been worse.
Yas as usual held up midfield play and distributed very well to fast running Jamil and John and Bobby was getting into alot of free space as Whites had to resort to double teaming attacking players like Jamil whose dribbling skills ofttimes bamboozel'd poor white def.
The Blacks goals were quite effortless both from open men near the goal or shots from outside the D. It did not help that Whites visibly tired midway into the game and started to fizzle even in attack which was sporadic and opportunistic.
Nonetheless, quite interesting match as I observed that in a 4 a side match, the teamwork and dynamics have to be very tight. If you beat just 1 player, its already a goal scoring opportunity so the covering and positioning is also v impt.
Anyways, even if it ended up in a rout, the exercise was fun
