If I were to use 2 words to describe the game today, it would be "Communication and discipline"
Whites was able to organise ourselves faster than the reds, with Lynz dictating the plays from midfield, Stan holding the fort in defence. This resulted in an early goal for the whites.
Reds started to regroup and started to push up with more purpose and they managed to get a goal back to level the game.
After the restart, the whites continued to ask for the balls and running into open spaces, resulting in shots coming in from all angles. Score before halftime: 4-1 in favour of the whites.
With a good lead, the whites started parking the "bus" in front of goal, playing long balls to Rainer as he picked up the loose balls and attempted brilliant shots while being closed down by the red defence. For the remaining 20 mins, there were no more goals as it came down as a case of tactical discipline and communication that won the game for the whites. A slight contrast over the Sat game which the opposition managed to pull back the score to draw level at the end.
Enjoyed the game for the teamwork and discipline of the white team and the fact that everyone from both sides ran their hearts out. Cant possibly name a man of the match as everyone played well. So I'll leave this to the other guys. ;D
Agree with Jason ( Got his name Right finally since kept calling him David )
Whites were organised and played good passings . Reds had a quiet outing probably due to Deepavali and had too much Briyanis and Currys kept most of us quiet , juggling the stomach . I had my last meal at 3.30pm and was sweating curry throughout the whole match but that never kept me stop shouting ( Default i guess ) . And one Stage i had to keep quiet when i felt the Mutton i had was already at my Throat . Anyway Good game overall .
Whites did not park their bus infront of the goal mouth , it was more like a combination of a bulldozer and Great wall of China . Elvin had his greatest Miss when it hit the pole and if that would have gone in , Reds probably would have played with 7 Goalkeepers but never had the chance .
Jason T had an excellent match and probably the reason why i am limping now . Stanley was instructung Jason not too look at the ball but look at the man , guess Jason probably heard Look at the leg and thus my condition now . Every each turn i took was JAson and Stanley at the back of me ( thought this was Arjit Fertish but guess it has spread to others now ) .
GOOD GOOD NEWS TO RED
