Everyone, please bring both a white top and a red top in any event.
We managed back-to-back Sunday games on the big pitch for only the second time, and the second game turned out to be a great game.
Reds came from 1-5 down to draw 7-7.
Stanley took a knock early on, and the goal scored by Whites arising from the knock was disallowed for a foul. Stanley was out of the game for more than 5 minutes, and during that time, Whites took a 1-0 lead, which they extended to 2-0 soon after Stanley came back into the game.
Reds pulled one back, but Whites extended their lead to 5-1. Gilbert then needed a 5 minute break to recover his breath, and things looked bad for Reds. At that stage, Whites looked strong with Varun and Elvin up front, and Sunny bringing the ball forward in midfield.
However, Reds kept their shape and pulled back to 3-5, then 5-6. We then had 10 minutes extra.
Whites pulled ahead 7-5, and with time running out, it looked like they would hold out for a win, but 2 goals late on pulled the game back to 7-7.
Even though a couple of Reds players were struggling, everyone on the Reds team made great effort to pull the game back.
