whites came out of the blocks faster and took a 2:0, n 3:1 lead. reds fought their way back to equalize 3:3 despite many, many missed attempts in front of the goal. whites had fewer attempts to score but remained dangerous in front of the goal. the last 15 min or so continued in the same style with reds somehow scoring that final 4:3 score.

Very close game.. could have gone either way although i have not seen so many missed chances in a game by Fred/Rainer... ... plus excellent saves from Whites keeper. Whites were dangerous with their pass and move game but Reds defence of Tristan, Wee Teck and Bobby held up very well. Good game and workout overall....

No need I was unstoppable last night ! The only one who could keep me from scoring was... myself!! Me and Rainer tried all the possible ways of NOT scoring : hitting the post, good goalkeeping, poor finishing, etc. Seems like my scoring days are over, gonna end up becoming a defender.... Is that what happened to you Raj?

good response, fred!
but on a 'serious' note: think whites did a great job in defending. i felt like i did nt have much time on the ball which definitly contributed to the numerous balls that went towards the corner instead of the net.
also, i think lynz is most effective as center back. it's not a flamboyant position but really think he read the game very, very well, caught those balls from attacking whites and fed the strikers with many balls. well done, mate!

haha, yeah..good one, Fred. Rainer..tks for your comments... I am more an attacking player but don't mind playing back only if you and Fred are on my side... ..!! Stan and his defence did play well but he did comment after the game that marking both you guys was stressful...haha... i can imagine!! Till the next game........

OG's Agree with Rainer, Lynz consolidated the good efforts of our defenders by cutting the whites' attacks short with his clever play reading. Nothing new here!
