Was surprised that Khalsa was spared from the rain when i arrived at 830pm. The pitch wasnt too wet and ball wasnt skidding too much.
Close match in the first 25 mins, when the score was tied at 2-2. After which Whites scored a couple of goals to make it 5-2. Whites were passing around nicely and Reds were pretty much pinned back. This could be because Reds seem to have more defensive players which made them more inclined to defend their territory than gg up for attacks. .
However, Reds were dangerous with their quick counters and set pieces which i believe Edmund/ Johnny converted with a header from a corner kick.
As Fai mentioned, the first half hr was fairly tight. Reds with new faces were trying to contain Whites (Fai & frens) who have been playing together for quite a number of games. Their familiarity showed in the later part of the game as they passed around very well to score their goals.
Overall, Reds played quite well for most of the game given the circumstances and was unfortunate with some of the goals let in (rebound off defenders, slipped through keeper hands due to wet conditions).... and we needed Rainer's goalscoring instincts.. !! (Boris signed up because he saw yr name, Rainer!)
Fai ... lucky you never say like Lucas...haha. Anyway, you got it right when u mentioned ' bursting run' and not runs... after that panchek already. Till the next game...(in next 2 weeks or so cos travelling for work..)...cheers.
