Feel free to discuss the game, and the rest of the game, here. Especially those who withdrew from last night's game to watch the game. 6 withdrawals in all, although only 2 admitted to withdrawing to watch the game. I caught the goals: * Good goal by Singapore. * Poor defending for the equaliser. * Dodgy penalty for Kelantan's winner.

considering the historical context of the game (current champion vs a singapore side that had to fill in a huge shoe) it was a low quality game filled with mistakes. the only scene worth watching was the equalizer of kelantan.
i don't think the penalty was a penalty but at the same time i must say that the result seemed fair with or without the penalty. was shocked to see how physically weak the lions turned out to be. lack of stamina + professional soccer player = waste of time.

yeah, i read there are a few rules as to how many foreigners can be in the lions team and how many over the age of 23 ect. - but do those rules excuse a lack of fitness?

Yupe no excuse for the lack of fitness and being under 23 fitness shouldn't be much of a concern seriously especially if you are a pro.
I am for sure happy that I did not stay to watch the match rather went down to play. I would just build up my frustration with the SG team.

Well Nothing like when we had the likes of Sundramoothy , Fandi Ahmad and Abbas Saad , that was something worth watching . I think if we had the best 11 for fiofafi , we probably would have played better . I hardly see any players dribbling or beating any players with confidence .
Bottom Line , They just Suck !

I even appreciate the time when there were no sundram, fandi or abbas when we have craig foster, vana, spink.
I still think Terry P. is a fantastic sweeper and captain, razali deputised reasonable well, hasnim haron still ruled the left flanks, the late borhan "the tank" abu samah, kadir, young nazri nasir, yahya madon, steven tan were a great bunch to watch.
I still don't like D-Lee as he like to blame his defenders for all the shit including his.. but hey those were the talking pts.
