Not many defenders playing, so organization becomes more important. I've suggested captains - Elvin for Reds as he in any event won the poll, and Martijn for Whites, as I think he's the only one who regularly plays both Wednesday nights and Sunday evenings, so he probably knows more of the players.
When the line up was confirmed , i thought both captains must have agreed , as i could not recall some of the White players therefore i waited till everyone turned up .
Before the match , it looked like Reds were the stronger team minus me playing with torn shoes ( just got a new pair for myself ) .
I would say Kenny and Raahol played really well for the reds , clearing most of the closed opportunities Whites had . Lynz , Brendan , Rainer and Martijn did troubled the Reds Defense but Reds took advantage on all their Counter attacks .
Leo had an excellent match for Whites with some nice passings .
It took awhile before Reds scored and i think we were leading 3-0 before Whites came back . It was not really an easy outing for the Reds as some players were showing some signs of fatigue . Good game overall .
As for the line up , i will leave it to both captains.
Hurt me with the Truth but Never Comfort me with a Lie
Yes, I think Kenny did really well and played abv himself that day. I was also impressed with Rashol's stamina....that guy covered alot of ground!! He made some really good tackles and break up a few plays.
I dont agree however that we made all our chances count......I am embarressed to say that i missed 2 open goals.....with no one in goal !
