I've been using one thread to organize both games at Turf City on Sunday, but two threads for the two games on Thursday.
The one thread method seems to work better, so I'll apply that to the two Thursday games (one at Khalsa, the other at East Coast) from the thread for next week onwards.
For the Sunday games, most players indicate their preference - a particular slot, either slot (with or without a particular preference) or both. If there are enough for two games, I split up the players between the two slots based on their preference.
The same will apply to the two Thursday games (although both is not an option unless you have discovered a way of being at 2 places at the same time!).
The biggest problem will be having to make a call on the East Coast game by Tuesday or Wednesday. The Premier Pitch (at both Turf City and Khalsa) are more accommodating of cancellations on the day itself. It means that the Khalsa game is always more likely to go ahead than the East Coast game, especially now that the pool of players for the Khalsa game is as big as for the East Coast games.
$10 per player.

There are two games available:
* 9 to 10 pm at Khalsa
* 9 to 10 pm at East Coast
Please indicate whether you are available for either (with or without a preference) or only one (specifying the preference).
As the pitches are uncovered, in the event of rain, the rain policy will apply.
The maximum number for each game is 14. However, a game will go ahead even with 12. Once the maximum number is reached, anyone after that can only be in reserve, coming in as a replacement should there be any withdrawals.
As there are two games, we can go up to 28, and both games can go on, provided players are prepared to be flexible.
Withdrawals & Cancellations
If a player withdraws, any prepayment will remain to his credit. However, there will be a penalty of between $1 and $4 for withdrawals less than 6 hours before the game, the later the withdrawal, the greater the penalty. If a player does not withdraw and I am unaware that the player failed to turn up, the full payment will be deducted. The amount will be reduced if I am informed, and an explanation provided.
Either game may be cancelled due to lack of numbers or for any other good reason. 24 hours notice will usually be given for cancellations, but it may be less for reasons beyond my control.

Line Ups, Punctuality & Previous Games
Proposed line ups will be put up a few hours before the game. If there are an odd number of players, the proposed line ups may be delayed until we have an even number of players.
Those playing, please be early, to warm up and meet the other players. Even though a specific colour may be assigned to each player before the game, please bring both a white top and a red top.
