It is up to individual players doing the first report whether they want to include a player poll, or any poll relating to the game that was played. .... In order to add a poll, you must have started the thread.
No one seems to bother.
I cover the credits for being team selector/captain and for doing the first report as they are incentives for taking on extra responsibilities. No extra responsibility in being voted player of the game, so if it were to be introduced, it would have to be funded differently.
If you are covering the credits yourself, then you dont really need a consensus fm the players. Decision should be made based on how important you feel to have a match report and to get players to be team selectors.
What I can cover I do. If it needs to be increased, or if players propose credits for other things, it will have to come from somewhere else. The question of course is whether additional credits are needed or wanted.
I think those who play at the weekends generally find it a hassle to be team selectors.
On the basis that it is trickier to agree on teams with 16 players rather than 14 players, with effect from this weekend, I'll increase the team selector credit for 8-a-side games to $3 each.
As far as opting out is concerned, players who want to opt out have to do so each time they put their name down for a game. I can't be dealing with standing instructions to opt out. If I accept standing instructions to opt out from one, then I will have to do so from others, and it becomes my burden to remember who has opted out and who hasn't. It is easier for each player to opt out each time. Just indicate "(NAATS)" after your name if you find typing "Not available as team selector" too much of a hassle.
