The 2 team selectors are Elvin and Imran. I believe that between them, they know all the players.
Azmi and David T haven't paid yet. Everyone else has prepaid, including Imran out of Sushil's credit.
After today's game, the following do not have sufficient credit for their next game:
* Damian, balance nil. * Elvin, balance nil. * Leon, balance $6. * Tim T, balance $11.

Let's do 10-a-side. The forecast of rain is for north and east. Maybe good that it rain. Rain is better than haze. Besides, what is a little rain? We will all be sweaty anyway.

If we r playing outside pitch do we get to wear studs?

We have enough reserves for 9 or 10 a side so big pitch would be a good option. Nothing wrong with a bit of rain, football is played in rain worldwide unlike tennis!

We are still playing in the same kind of pitch... so what is the issue of studs??

Better traction in rainy conditions? Just saying, don't have any myself

But for 10-a-side game for an hour, I dont think many would get to touch the ball much..its essentially a field game which is usually over 2 hours instead.. its raining already by the way, and somehow I would recommend a 2 hour session of 3 teams of 7 instead. 1 hour for 20 people to jostle for the ball really wouldnt be very effective..

I've SMSed the remaining players to canvass their views. So far: In favour: Foo Cheong, Babs, Wing Kong, Tim T, Imran Neutral: Damian (I assume), Kenji, Poh Keng, Elvin, Andrew Y Opposed: David T, Sivaraj .... The forecast of rain is for north and east. .... Is that a guarantee? I'll wait until 4 pm to see how the weather holds up. I've also informed the 4 reserves. If we r playing outside pitch do we get to wear studs? The rules on playing on uncovered pitches will apply. But for 10-a-side game for an hour, I dont think many would get to touch the ball much..its essentially a field game which is usually over 2 hours instead.. .... Can't really compare with a full field 11-a-side game as the uncovered pitches are still much smaller than a full field.

I'm not in the area, but from what I hear, the weather is not looking good. Shall we just stick with the safe option for today, that is, the covered pitch?

It's raining heavily in north now. Better stay in the covered pitch with 7-a-side

It is raining at Bukit Timah now, although it has lightened to a drizzle. May stop in 29 minutes' time

I stay.about 10 mins away and while there is.no rain yet there is ominous signs w thunder and bluster winds so perhaps better to stay indoors and keep to original plan. That said may have been fun to play 10 a side outdoors

I'm en routero turf city now & will probably reach there quite early, I can update the conditions from there using the tried & tested finger in the air method & by watching the flight patterns of the local birds in that area!

It's raining heavily in north now. So the weather forecast was accurate.
