Jye is one team selector. Tie between Desmond and Lynz for the other, but Desmond gets in ahead, having played more games over the past 6 months (38 to 30). Jye expressed concern on the WhatsApp group chat that he is on a losing streak this year. My response is that losing streaks must come to an end, and today is as good a day as any. ... Jye, can I suggest the following: .... Have tried to keep the various buddies together. Let me know, thanks. Good beers overall  sorry I meant good game . Reds defense did well to hold players like nick Gerard and Jason . Whites probably had better midfield but reds did better is scoring goals . Good link up with ch , jan , lynx and Richard . Xiong Wei did score too . Final score reds 4-0 . Whites tried scoring and came close but no cigar . |

Reds played a steady game but to be fair to Whites, there were some new Sat game players in Whites which were getting used to playing with the regulars. The scoreline did not really reflect the game as Whites did well to contain Reds but familiarity within the Reds helped. However, this game was for Jye to end his losing streak after all his complains .... ... |

Jye made it clear to me while we were warming up that he has been on the losing team & didnt choose me to be in his team for this game .... think that played in my mind when my poor back pass resulted in Reds first goal ... the rest is history ...

Cheng Hong...you are a taken man. Babs insists that you 2 must be together as you can wear matching Arsenal jersies and watch each other backs in case Rockstar is lurking around

Rockstar has lost his edge since his new born baby arrived ... its Raminder we are worried about cuz Babs & him seemed to get 'tangled' ever so often !!

I think Chen Hong has been smoking the old Jamaican woodbine again as Raminder wasn't playing!!
It was a tough game for Reds & we tried hard but were always 2nd best to a superior white side who had better balance and knowledge on how to play at TC in terms of shape and movement. We toiled away but never got much change out of a miserly backline of Rockstar, Jye and the excellent Xiong Wei. Nice match anyway.
Thank you to Desmond for bringing the Ice Cold Beer, really was super chilled & needed esp for the Red players!
