Can I suggest Glenn T and Chen Hong as team selectors? Glenn, because he has brought his 5 colleagues in, Chen Hong because he works in the same company, and has the most number of games in the current 6 month period (42).
No comments, so the team selectors are Glenn T and Chen Hong.
(2) to (6) are Glenn's colleagues. Jin Xian has played before and is on the Approved List. Kelvin Au (from the same company) had previously brought along a James L a couple of times in the middle of 2011. Is he the same one? I think the rest are new.
It was Attack! from the Reds from the word go and Reds drew first blood within the first minute with Kelvin's infamous left foot curler that caught everyone offguard. It was 4-4 after 15 mins, Reds leading each time and Whites equalising from some determined hassling of the defenders that lead to Rai's clinical finishing. Whites also let in a soft goal thanks to yours truly who as goalkeeper threw the ball to the opponent who relaid the ball to Kelvin for a cheeky chip over me into goal.
It was quite a tale of 2 halves. The Reds were connecting really well in the first half running rings around the Whites, playing at some blistering pace and attacking with venom. At one point Chenzo sat on the ground glaring at the player who left his stud marks on Chenzo's feet...if looks could kill..
Fortunately Whites went a gear up in the second half, Reds started to sit back a little and the complexion of the game changed. Jeff's usual dangerous forays from centre back to centre forward was causing all sorts of problems together with Tim's darting down the wings. Whites had a good scoring spell, lead by several goals at one point before Reds scored a couple from counterattacks and loose defending by the Whites.
Lost track of the final score (again)..but think Whites won by a couple of goals in a high scoring match.

This is not the first time i have been on the receiving end of 'friendly studs'. There is another player who has been plying his trade in ECP & occasionally at Turf City whom i wont mention. I have been accidentally stamped by him even while playing on the same side.
Those who want to come play should think about safety of others.
I am going to withdraw myself from ECP for the next 2 weeks as I am nursing a swollen toe.
