Great game played with care and tenderness after calls to play with love. Selectors did an awesome job as game was super tight and high scoring right till last 10 min when Whites finally pulled away by 2 or 3 goals.
Final score probably 12-9.
Late entrant Joel shined for Reda while Whites had Marko the wizard not lizard.
It's been a while since I contributed to the post match report. So here goes..
The game started slightly later than usual as both sets of players left their homes/offices/celebration parties/mourning sessions/etc late after the overnight (+day) rejoicing of MU's latest BPL triumph (or mourning of SAF's retirement from footbal mgmt).
By the time the game started, my team (Whites) realised Jeff was still watching SAF's farewell speech on his mobile device while cycling his way to Sport Planet. Play was cautious for the first 5mins before Reds took advantage of the numerical superiority to score the first goal via Melvin A (or was it Kelvin or Joel) pile-driver.
Reds was soon 2-0 up, by which time Jeff had duly taken his position in goal n memorised SAF's farewell speech by heart. Back to full strength, Whites began to have more control of the game. It was 'game on' after Whites score two successive goals to square things up.
Play continued to be pretty even as no teams led by more than 2 goals thru'out the game. As the scoreline increased, so did the intensity of tackles, some of which were firm but fair. I was one of the guilty party too as I accidentally kicked Joel's foot with a bad follow thru after a clearance from defence. Apology was offered and accepted almost immediately as we continue to play until about quarter past 10.
I dunno the final score but I think Whites won by a 2-goal margin. Maybe is was 12-10, or 11-9 or even 13-11. Anyone kept score?
It was a extremely fast flowing game with non stop action at both ends of the pitch.
Au brothers and Bryan were outstanding for the Reds especially with the amount of work and effort they put in especially when they were trailing. You can only wished for the same kind of effort from everyone playing that day.
Mark and James didnt had it easy in front of goal but they persisted with more running on and off the ball and were duly rewarded with some nice taken goals and made life difficult for the Reds defenders all night.

I was late because I am teaching (or drilling) numbers to my girl
Agree with Rai on the pace of the game and I felt that a slightly better coordination among the whites edged out the reds at the end. Whites kindda exploited the space that opened up in the middle when Reds forwards lost possession on final third and whites went on to do counters.
Reds did well exploiting the wings with mel/kel pulling me away from the center and then squared it to the middle for their goals a couple of times. Whites also did not defend the corners well as a team as we conceded two goals from corners - esp the one that Neil continued shouting to cover Joel at the top of the 'D' yet we didn't react and a goal was scored.
Neil continued to improve his game in my eyes making a pretty explosive wing back display from time to time and got himself a couple of goals.
