Everyone was on time and the game started at a frantic pace. Both teams were matching each other with accurate passes, blocks and goals. There was nothing to choose from the 2 sides until the halfway mark. Whites started to get tired and lost shape and Reds took full advantage of the slack defending. Whites had no answer up front but was lucky to get a few soft goals. Overall, Reds were the more energetic team with better movement and teamwork, took the game by a couple. A great workout all round.
Some of the players were saying that Reds won 8-7 but I honestly thought that we had tied. The last goal was a superb scissor kick from Neil T (which had me trying despirately to cover my face and crotch) which brought the game to either 1 up for Reds or a Draw by my count but really a good game. There were some tussles here and there but I think it was more the fatigue acting up than the players, but everyone shook hands immediately and moved on. Good to have you back on the pitch Gilbert. Cheers
