Reds settled down quicker of the two teams, going into a 2-0 lead early. Despite this, they had a hard time coping with white's counterattacking play, with the slippery and elusive Kodaka proving more than a handful for the red's defence. He put the whites back on 2-2 with a few unstoppable shots. From then on, Reds starting to show more discipline in defending and managed to pull away to 5-2. Whites scored a couple of long range screamers to keep the gap to 2 goals. Goals were raining everywhere as both teams started to tire. Final score was 11-9 to the reds.
