It was dry and clear, great conditions for kickabout session. Players were punctual and we were off to a slow start. On paper, Reds seemed to have an edge, but that was not the case. Reds were tired, sluggish and were more interested in hitting the post than scoring. Whites were sharp at goal, keeping the Reds out and were clinical in their passing and finishing. Whites played like a team, with coordinated efforts while Reds were dependent on individual skill, which on this night, rarely pass the midfield. For me, I was ineffective and had a bad game. Whites takes it by 1 or 2.
still knackered after Monday's game ... we played 77 mins and it was fast & hard especially for the Whites as we had to work extra hard to make up for the "shortfall" technically. Good game from both sides and a draw would probably be a fair result.
Neil's effort and work rate was off the charts even with one very badly sprained ankle. MOM for me!
