When there are 10 players confirmed, anyone else can only be in reserve. The game will go ahead if there are at least 8 confirmed.
If you are keen to play, but take up is slow and there is a risk that the game may be cancelled, feel free to invite friends and acquaintances, or to SMS other players on the Participant List who have previously played at The Cage on weeknights.
If you put down the name for another, please ensure the player has confirmed to you that he is able to play.
Bring both a black top and a white top to the game to allow for changes to be made to the line ups at the game itself.
If having put your name down, you subsequently cannot make it, please withdraw your name below. If you do not have access to the message board, or you have to withdraw after the line ups have been put up, SMS the coordinator or the person doing the line ups.
Ace withdrew, then put himself back in after he changed his work schedule. I've deleted those posts as they made the thread confusing.
Avoid withdrawals on the day of the game, but apart from that, if, having put your name down, you need some time to re-arrange your schedule, go ahead and do so, but don't take too long over it. Also, when you put your name down, you should have a reasonable belief that you will be able to play. Don't put your name down just to reserve a place even when you're unsure you can play.
In future, if anyone withdraws, and then puts their name back in, they have to go to the end of the queue.
