Wet day with a wet pitch and a wet ball. Ball kept skidding and was fast on the ground. Caused a couple of mistakes and errors from both teams.
Reds went 2-0 up and Whites pulled back to 2-2 before taking the lead at 4-2. Reds scored 4 making it 6-4 before the Whites again mustered the strength to make it 6-6. Reds scored the last 2 from the left before time was called.
Goal of the game: Delon volley

Yes, wet pitch and some sloppy goals... just for memory sake, the scorers:-
Reds: 1 goal - Kelvin Ho (wicked left leg volley; ball travelling at 3km/hr, just slipping past keeper) 1 goal - Ling Chong (good strike from the left into the farpost) 2 goals - Delon. Scored the goals of the game. First: keeper threw a long ball nodded on by Daniel, in tight space, scored on a semi-volley. Second: inviting cross from Ling Chong, textbook header into the goal. 4 goals - Daniel. Carrying on his good scoring form, 3rd game in the roll, with 4 goals. Lots of running, capitalizing on the wet pitch, just kept trying shots, and was rewarded. Chern Yang had a strong defensive display to keep the whites at bay. His second game after a long break.
Whites 1 goal - Jeremiah (knee-ed home from a corner) 1 goal - Joel (slotted home from a corner) 1 own goal - Ling Chong 3 goals - Gerard. Back to his scoring ways, opportunistic and capitalized on defensive errors and exploited spaces in oppositions defense. Darren played well in the middle of the park and was unlucky not to be on the score sheet.
