Several players who haven't played together before much or at all, plus a new player, so I'll suggest line ups after 4.30 pm tomorrow. I've added a team captain poll. I've included everyone who has played at least 10 games in the current 6 month period or 40 games since April 2011.
Ting Han has requested red. No other comments, so line ups, captains and colours confirmed as follows:
Reds: Kien, Jon L, Ting Han, Ziliang, Shawn Koh, Zakaria (c), John J Whites: Ling Chong, Shawn Low (c), Koen, Kah Boon, Arthur Chen, Dev, Kelvin Han
Everyone, please be early.

It's rare to have so many positive comments, especially from those on the losing side.
Someone, do a brief write up below. The $2 credit for a first report is still up for grabs!
Whites started with the following formation: 1-3-3 Dev(in goal) Ling Cong(LB) Kah Boon(DCM) Kelvin(RB) Arthur(LW) Shawn Low(ATT) Koen(RW) - Sorry pls pardon me if i got any of u mixed up as it was my first time being a captain and also playing with a lot of new faces.
I'll leave the lineups for the reds to Zack as I'm not too familiar with the rest of the names.
Game started at a very good pace with both teams seemingly able to make good use of the tempo and gel up. Both teams have a number of half chances during the early stage but it was not until about 10-15mins into the game before whites took the lead.
Reds clearly seemed to be in the ascendency as they soon equalised, making neat passes and running into spaces. When whites took the lead for the second time reds again demonstrated their will to bring the game down to the wire by putting another equaliser in. Chances were aplenty for the reds due to the fact that there's no natural defenders in our ranks but thankfully, with lady luck on our side and some wonderful saves from the keeper that we were able to keep the reds at bay.
Turning point was at 4-3, when whites managed to stretch the lead with two more goals in rather quick succession. I fondly remember the last goal by Kelvin. It was a well taken goal with what seemed like an engineered move. Kelvin pushed the ball to me on the right flank and ran into space into the middle with quick thinking. Fortunately, I did not rely on my instinct to take the shot by myself and managed to square the ball back for him to complete a one touch finish.
By then, it seemed a little too late for the reds to do any catch up. However, kudos to the reds as one of them said: "Last goal, let's play for pride!" and yes the reds duly delivered the last goal of the game.
Although none of us on the field were "professionals", but the fact that all of us were able to enjoy ourselves out there on the pitch speaks volume about the effort that everyone has put in.
My first too as a captain. Occasionally sloppy play by the captain himself and I was disappointed with myself.
Reds started with me starting as goalie, helmed by kien on centre back together with jon l and Shawn on the left and right respectively. Upfront will be the ever pacy max on the left , Jon j in the middle front of the park with ting Han on the right.
Glad that each and every one had fun. Looking forward to the next. Thanks all!
