It was a great workout today, probably more so for the Whites, as a couple of us were out-of-breath near the end.
The score was 9-5 to the Reds, who took a lead at 4-3 with 15 minutes left and never looked back. I would say there was an interesting flashpoint at 3-2 when Whites, via Manish, scored a goal right after the kick-off, catching Ziliang unawares as he was in goal tying his shoelaces. To be fair, the Reds had engaged the front line of the Whites, and so Manish was entitled to take a shot. However, that probably energised the Reds to work even harder, and it showed as their pressing eventually bore fruit and they ran away with the lead.
Overall, the balance of both teams were good but Reds probably were fitter, so they lasted the distance, while the Whites were fading near the end.
