Zak suggested line ups, so I discussed it with him, and we agreed on:
Whites: Zak, Ziliang, Ling Chong, John J, Edmund, Marcus, Jon L Reds: Kelvin Han, Calvin, Arthur, Charpin, Nic, Chen Hong, Rajiv
Ziliang was a bit late, and I went back to my car to find my wallet. When I got back, the score was 1-1. Reds then went ahead 2-1, before Whites came back to lead 3-2. The lead changed hands again, as Reds took a 4-3 lead.
Reds then had a spell of not defending, with 3 players remaining in forward positions. Whites exploited this to run away to a 8-4 lead. Reds created a lot of chances after that but didn't take them, and Whites always looked dangerous on the break. Whites grabbed two more, to lead 10-4. Last goal was called, which Whites grabbed as well, to win 11-4.
Good game. After a close first half to the game, it was disappointing the final score wasn't closer, with lack of defence and lack of finishing costing Reds dearly in the second half of the game. It didn't help that Reds were clearly less fit. And John J found his scoring boots, scoring most of Whites goals as they came back from 3-4 down to win comfortably.
