Another night to forget for Whites as we were outplayed in every department. Just not good enough as we lacked confidence and played like we had too much to eat at dinner. It did not help that the Reds were well organized and each player performed their role well. Steve was in fine form and so was David as they embarrassed our defense on the flanks. Sean and Jeff combined well in the middle with Tim and Dan guarding the rear. Jamie was always a danger with his running and excellent in goal as usual. I can't comment much about Whites as we did not turn up for the game and was delighted when Reis put in the last goal to end the game. Final score in the range of 10 to 3 to Reds.

maybe turning up on time - 9PM (for once) will be a good start. That is the least one can do in respect of the other 13 players who paid same $10 and made an effort to be early/on time. Its already hard enough when we are handicapped in strength and then we have to cover the extra ground and try not to fall too far behind when playing shorthanded. Its as good as starting every game with the 0-3/4 goals handicap. And if there is another booking at 10pm, then we are triple-screwed (only 50 mins of proper playtime). Don't take my word for it .. ask everyone who plays regularly.
If one can make an effort to be late for 10 mins almost every game, why the same person cannot make the same effort to be early/on time? Even our best player Sufian comes early ...I believe this issue for our Monday game was already brought up previously by Jamie.

Whites lacked cover on the left side which sean, jamie, steve and myself exploited time after time and I think most of the goals were created or scored came from left. The right side is also exposed but it is not as often as the left.
Secondly, sean, jamie, dan and myself will put pressure when whites played the ball out to Ben because we thought that was a good chance for a turnover and I almost scored from one of those and jamie might have got a goal.
As hindsight 50/50, it is easier to look at the play after the game was played. Reds had stability, most of the players played in the same position almost 80% of the game and that allows some kind of pattern that we can rely on.
Deft touch by Bert for the top 5 goals I've ever seen at ECP games.
