... from the "Venus, pitches & team sizes" thread:
..., when driving through the Stadium area a couple of weeks ago, I saw two covered pitches in the open area behind The Cage. The only signage in the vicinity was for the neighbouring batting cage. I looked it up. The batting cage is owned by the Singapore Baseball & Softball Association (SBSA). The SBSA also owns the two covered pitches. The SBSA has outsourced the running of the batting cage and pitches to Sportskinesis. However, Sportskinesis are required to give priority to the batting cage, so they are not promoting the covered pitches. The pitches are available. The pitches looked suitable for 6-a-side. I will follow up to confirm. I will start a Friday night game there.
... to give players more opportunity to try out this new venue, I'll switch the Sunday night game from Khalsa to the SBSA @ Kallang for the time being.

Please read "The GIFFA System" and "Playing Rules & Principles" for more information by following the links. Being familiar with the contents of both pages is a pre-condition to playing in our games.
Add names below. Within the first 48 hours:
- Maximum of 4 names per GIFFA Player.
- GIFFA Players only.
Additionally, after 48 hours, there is a maximum of 1 guest per player, until 6 hours before the game. Guests must be 18 or above in the current year. In the last 6 hours before the game, places are opened to any male aged 18 or above. In the last 3 hours, the age restriction is reduced to 16.
If a player or the player paying for him owes payment for more than one previous game, the player will lose priority when the payment information is provided and up to the game itself, unless the total amount is less than $50 (inclusive of the current game) and the player or player making payment confirms to me before priority is lost that he will make payment within the week, and in any event, before his next game.
As set out above, the session is scheduled to start 10 minutes before the hour. The first 10 minutes are for team selectors to meet the players and consider any changes in line ups, as well as discuss formation, team organization and tactics. The game starts on the hour sharp.
