Reds raced to a 3, or 4 goal lead early in the game, with great gameplay strung together by Brandon in the middle of the park, Jacko and Ray playing off the flanks and Gerard pivoting off the top of the diamond. The lead though, was flattering, as the quality of the Whites line-up soon came through as they caught up -- with well-taken goals, notably one from Daniel's quick first-time shot from a pass to the left of the box, and another gem of a header from Delon, scoring it just inside of the right-hand post -- and eventually took the lead at 5-4. Reds equalised around the hour mark at 5-5.
15 minutes past the hour, last goal was called and Whites won it 6-5 with Delon converting a cross from the right.
Good game. Robust exercise. Excellent kick off and healthy start to 2015.
