Final score in the range of 12-4 to Whites. The game seemed tighter than the score suggests. Whites had more success at goal perhaps due to weak goalkeeping.
Whites opted for a 2-3-1 formation which suited their players. They were disciplined in advancing and defending together, making it very difficult for the Reds to find an answer. More than once, we find that Jeff was the lone defender having to fend off 3 Whites. Or Jacko and Marko having to thread through 2 layers of defence to get a decent shot at goal. On the other hand, Whites exploited the width and created space with a good passing game. They also made good use of supplying balls to Shawn who duly did what he is best at - scoring goals. Score could be higher as Paul forgot his scoring boots and only put 1 in out of countless chances! It is also worth mentioning that the goals by Reds were very well taken, amid a very organised White defence.
