Sean had concerns, so I allowed him to discuss his proposed swap with the captains. George proposed an alternative swap, which Ben and Sean agreed with. Revised line ups, captains and colours confirmed as follows:
Reds: Keith, Nicholas, George (c), Jeff, Niel L, Seb, Boon Yick Whites: Sean, Ben (c), Calvin, Paul B, Marcus, Khairil, Alex F
Everyone, please be early.

The pitch last night was significantly brighter, a welcomed condition since I last played and it's also not because of the ambulance that was outside the pitch. Reds started with one debutante in Nic and a comeback game for Boon after 3 mths and he opted to play striker and declared he can't run much.
The deadlock was broken by Reds when a flicked from the center midfield to Seb on the left who finished off with a half volley about 10 mins into the game. The second goal quickly came from a quick corner, a header; as the ball was mishandled by keeper into the goal. Reds continued to play the ball well, chasing and hassling the Whites and opened up a 5 goal lead. Whites tried to penetrate with dribbles from Paul and Khairil, and penetrating passes from Sean but the Reds players checked them enough and avoided committing rushed tackles to keep them at bay. Reds defended well collectively as a unit, closing the passes through the middle and left the play in the flanks as Whites forwards tend to cut into the middle and not exploit the flanks.
Paul pulled one back to make the score 5-1 but Reds continued their calm, stable game and made the opponents to chase the ball and scored 3 more goals - hitting Whites in the counter-attacks. Reds were stretched a few time but George who played a captain's game and assisted by Keith thwarted the threats consistently. Last goal was called and Paul managed to wriggle out 2 reds defenders and scored the final goal bringing the score to 8-2.
