Players seems to be assigned to the team with the people who put the names. The game started with Whites opted to be a little cautious with a 3-2-1 formation, allowing two new debutantes in John and Victor time to settle in. Whites scored the first goal and it remained that way for a long time despite having greater possession of the ball. Whites hurried the Reds when possession was lost and kept their shape throughout the game making it difficult for the Reds to have any meaningful penetration.
A good chance fell for Reds and threatened to equalize against the run of play at one point. Some good work by soon leong on the left led to the second goal from Paul's header. It then opened the floodgate and Whites continuing to piled the pressure and opened a 5-0 lead. Reds worked hard all through the night but was unlucky not to have good clear cut chances. One good chance fell to Jacko in one of his burst of speed runs into the box, only for him to hit it hard wide.
Whites closed the game with some tidy work without much fuss to the frustration of Reds players who did make a couple of risky challenges but with no intent to injure anyone. Last goal was called and Reds finally got their goal. A couple of minutes after the restart, lights went off signaling the end of the night.
