Insufficient votes for team selectors, so I suggest:
Three players with 1 vote each. The two with the most number of games in the current 6 month period can be captains. That would be Sean (45 games) and Keith (41 games), with the other player being Marcus (20 games).
Team captains can agree on colours.
Colours were agreed on the WhatsApp group chat as follows:
Red: Niel, Ee Hwa, George, Sean, Andy, Marcus, Ray White: Keith, Delon, Nicholas, Ben, Jordi, Faisal, Alex F
After the game, please post reports and comments on the game below.
The game started with the whites bringing the game to the Reds and have a few chances to open the scoring but with a breakaway counter attack, Ray sped down the left and Marcus drew the defender away to the right, the Reds scored thru Andy with a shot down the center. 1-0
A cross from Niel was turned into the goal and it was 2-0. A good passing move by the whites ended up with Jordi opening the scoring for the whites with a neat back flick that beats Sean, 2-1.
Keith orchestrating the whites attacks with Alex constant prompting threaten to equalize many times before suddenly the lights went out and it was said that the wrong pitch was booked. The constant runs of Jordi, Ben, Nic and Faisal were pulling the Reds around and the Reds with determination kept out the whites which were denied a few times.
The game restarted on another pitch and the game eventually opened up as the whites poured forward for an equalizer. A corner was turned in with a deflected shot via Sean and Andy followed with another making it 4-1.
Niel with his constant overlapping runs all night find himself thru on goal via a one-two with Andy and finishes neatly. Andy completed his hat trick with another through ball from Sean down the right flank. 6-1
Keith called for last goal as Faisal was injured during a tackle from Ray who was terrorizing the Whites with his speed down the left all night. George and Ee Hwa were solid at the back covering as much threats thrown at them before finally succumbing to Delon pressing and a neat turn shot make it 6-2.
