Over the last 3 weeks, the winning captains have been Peminder, Niel and Calvin. Niel is not playing, so Peminder and Calvin, the winning captains of recent weeks, can be captains. Captains can agree on colours.
A very one-sided game which was sadly impacted by Philip aggravating an old knee injury.
Whites took the lead early with some great strikes on goal pushing the lead out early on to 4-0 and the score would have been worse had Permind not made a great save from Mirza. Reds frequently pressed forward, but commonly without the quality of final ball or finesse when it mattered, though a flurry of goals quickly pulled the score to 4-3 (thanks Leo in particular - and Steffen, who was in White's goal at the time :-)).
Whites re-grouped though and took advantage of defensive errors to make it 6-3. Shamir's blatant handball on the line gave Reds a penalty, but another superb effort in goal from John (the Wall) Simpson kept Raphael's penalty out. After Philip's injury Whites only had five but through good teamwork and passing still edged further ahead. We came to the last goal phase with Reds 12-5 down and after a long battle Raphael scored a long range shot bringing a tough games for the Reds to an end.
Well done Whites and I'm sure I speak for all when I say that we wish Philip a speedy recovery.
