An enthralling precursor to the London derby tonight. Both teams really went for it today and Whites took the win 4-3 with the last kick of the game. Richard sustained a neck injury early in the game and had to spend most of the game in goal. Reds raced to a 3-1 lead before Whites took control of the game with Reds tiring mainly due to not being able to sub out their keeper. Richard made countless saves in goal despite being injured and kudos to him for not quitting on his mates. Reds made Whites work their socks off to win the game and I think everyone was shattered after the game. See you guys next week. Ball credit, please.
Whites were well disciplined and everyone stuck to their roles while we chased the game from 3-1 down. Arijit, CH and Cedric were busy patrolling the flanks while jan, Dom and des kept on pushing the forward line.
Great 360 play from Darren as well who worked relentlessly hard in both supporting the attacks and helping out in the defense.
It was unfortunate that Richard had to go into goal so early. Whites would have had a tougher time if not for Richard in goal most of the game. Good sportsmanship of him to stay in goal. Kudos to Richard and get well soon mate.
We played 1hr 15mins...Great run out, good spirits and well played both teams.
