Reds took an early lead thru a great volley from Jonathan and soon made it 2-0. Whites found their stride though with Ivo being the key playmaker throughout the game from the back to set Raph, Neil and Stuart up for a handful of goals each. Kong fei was typically strong in defence with Arek going down the left flank whenever the chance arose.
Sivaraj twisted and turned in the middle and tucked away an early chance for Reds but was often smothered by the Whites defence. Both Stuart Lee and Robinson’s penchants for long range shots were diffused too through rapid closing down.
Whites extended their lead to a continuous three of four goals in the second half before Reds seemed to tire late on with Whites running out 17 - 10 winners.
A good open flowing game, if the teams were not somewhat one sided as it turned out.
