Several less regular players, or players who haven't played together before much or at all, so I will suggest line ups after 4 pm tomorrow. I have added the team captain poll. I've included everyone who has played at least 8 games in the current 6 month period and 40 games over the past 3 years, or 12 games in the current 6 month period, and is not currently excluded.
Game started a bit confused as we had some late arrivals, nonetheless a lot of new faces for both teams. Was a fun game but perhaps the white team was a bit weak and imbalanced, or the red team were on top form. Finished 10-5 to the reds in the end.
Morning all and thanks Vish for your kind comments mate. Good to see you back so soon after the injury last week. Quite open game last night and lots of opportunities for Reds. Thought Whites were unlikely not to have scored more and we did chalk off Moritz's goals both from early on and the cheeky pop he had when we were changing keeper :-). Imbalance in the sides seemed to play out more the longer the game went on with Jesse pushing forward and scoring a couple of late ones. Good distribution from the back and solid keeping also gave us an advantage it felt.
Reds showed a solid performance in most positions. Whites frequently changed the individual players' positions to come up with a solution to the red challenge, but it just didn't work out as whites were generally a bit weaker team and reds had the better overall plan.
Maybe whites should have also tried a different formation, e.g. 2 in defense, 3 in the midfield, 1 striker in the very front to have better chances to block the medium-distance shots which were quite devastating (Raph loves those and got lucky several times) as well as to close center spaces and routes that were frequently used by Reds to break through or to pass to the flanks, and to tie whites defense more to their side with the forward striker / disturb the initial distribution.
Nevertheless, whites had still quite some scoring possibilities (not talking of the ones chalked off, no issue here) and the final result could have been a bit less obvious but several shots of Tan Wee and Vish missed the target by a few feet or were blocked by reds defense / keeper.
Last but not lest, no injuries and fair play in a good spirit!

yes having Jesse helped a lot in defense as he was sound unselfish and could link up play with me in defence very well. Raph was on his game so it made up for the hammering and the imbalance from last week and also we had a lot of industry from the back line and all along the right flank - not talking about myself as I could simply dictate play from the back and din have to do too much running - Tan was nicely shut out by Jesse and I guess missing a couple of Thurs regulars for the Whites was a tad difficult as Moritz had to do a lot of the grunt work himself -
good game overall despite the late start.
I need ball credit again for ball appearance - Jiv - thanks
