White was handicapped due to last minute no show from Jordan (but Kelvin Y paid for his share as demanded by Gilbert).
Pretty unbalance game, non stop attacking from the blacks. Whites was like 6-0 down then Poh Keng volunteered to come over to the white. Game was much more balance in terms of attacking, we manage to catch a goal or 2 back then Kelvin N sprain his leg while chasing for the ball. Had to be out the rest of the action, round about 30mins of game play left.
6v6 was played out for the remaining minutes, with much more balance game play. poh keng and gilbert were the non stop attackers for the whites and we managed to pull back till like 7-4, blacks scored 2 more to bring it up to 9-4 and we ended with score line of perhaps 9-6. Can't really keep track of the score after white went down to 7...
I agree Jon, it shouldn't happen, but unfortunately it does from time to time. I'm looking at ways to deal with late withdrawals or no shows, or at least reduce the impact when it happens, but when it does happen, we just have to be flexible and adapt.
Due to unforeseen occurences, late withdrawals happens from time to time; at the end of the day as long as everyone trys to play their best and enjoy the workout, it is all that matters. playing 7 vs 7 is great for the pitch... 6 vs 6- i have no objections too as it means we run and sweat more...more workout
