Took a while to find a replacement for Arijit, what with F1 and all, but finally got one - Fred is in. I'll do the line ups. Whites: Anthony, Azmi, Danny, Rajseran, Nawal, Raminder, CH, Rainer Reds: Roland, Andrew, Siang Jin, Dan B, Erik, Sunny, Ken, Fred If anyone feels their side is significantly weaker, let me know, and I will switch them to the other side. It was a good selection Jiv. Reds started out brightly making brilliant passes that had whites chasing around. They deservedly took the lead from Sunny but cancelled out almost immediately after whites kick off when Raj saw Ken moved out from his post away from the evening sun, shot just nice above beating him( A good tactical decision by whites to take the shaded area 1st). 2 goals came for whites both times when I was at the sideline putting back my contacts, so I have no idea whose the scorer/s.My contribution to the team, I should be out at the sideline more often now. Reds pulled 1 back though I forgot who it was. Rainer then scored 2 goals for whites and final score was 5-2 for a white win. Correct me if I'm wrong.

LOL
Yes actually twice when Azmi had to sideline himself , we scored twice and i told Azmi to stay sideline for awhile jokingly.
It was not an easy game for us . The reds were attacking all the way and after their first goal , i actually saw Ken stepping out from the goal line and decided to try my luck the moment we kicked off . Ball eventually went just over him and it was a goal . I should train Torress to do that more often for once and see them start scoring goals .
The reds came back with another goal shortly and were leading 2-1 . Myself , Danny and Anthony did well with defense and stopped all shots from Dan . Dan b legs are made of iron and i nearly broke my Pedicured Toes .
The midfield marshalled by Raminder , CH , Rainer and Nawal did well to counter every loose ball we had . Rainer started scoring goals when i gave him timeline before i upgraded myself to Striker . He works better when under pressured.
Azmi and Danny took turns to play keeper and both did well .
The reds counter most of the time with the likes of DAn , Fred , Roland and Sunny but Whites blocked most of the shots especially Thanks to CH tiny ass that got whacked most of dan shots ( hope is not soar by now ) .
OVerall Fantastic match and hope to have more of this balance game every weekend .

Those on the winning side seem happy enough with the line ups, but what about those on the losing side?

Not happy. Offensive forces were well balanced but whites' defense was impenetrable. To put Rajseran, Anthony and Azmi in the same team is tantamount to building a concrete wall in front of their goal. Same situation as the week before except I was in the winning team this time...

Thanks Fred. If those on the losing side commented more, such considerations, in particular, those relating to individual players, can be taken into account in future. However, it will never be a perfect system, nor can it be. As long as one side isn't overrun by the other (in which case, perhaps the line ups should be completely re-done, even if halfway through the game), you win some and you lose some. Ultimately, it's how everyone plays on the day.
