5-3 for Reds. Reds started as the dominant team and had several chances in the beginning but took the 1-0 lead only after almost 15 minutes and extended to 3-0 quickly after that. Then Whites rearranged their lines, took more control of the Center, and started to push hard to save the day. This was rewarded by several chances and their first goal, but Reds pushed back to 4:1. Whites never gave up, so it was an intense and tiring match for both, and Whites managed once again to close the gap to 4:2 only by being hit by surprised by Jan's excellent 5:2 finish. Whites scored once more to 5-3 and kept up the pressure, but time didn't allow for much more action and Reds managed to stay calm in the last minutes.
Babs was probably the strongest white player today, creating many opportunities to score and pressing forward whenever a Red player close to him got the ball. Cedric while in Reds goal showed two incredible reflexes which prevented Whites from coming back in a critical phase, Babs and we all couldn't believe our eyes!
Reds had a very solid defense with Paul and CH on the wings and Arijit in the center who was in excellent shape today. Whites defense was a bit more shaky, and Raj in it's center was a busy man. Whites weakest spot today were the strikers, both Lynz and Desmond didn't have a good day and Lynz even got injured after about 40 mins and couldn't go all in after that. Raj still tried to feed them with his usual long passes from the back, but that didn't work out this time as Reds defense stayed close to Whites strikers who could not take control of the long passes without being disturbed. Building up the game slowly from the back might have been the better option, but Jason and Dom were pressing high up so that was also not sn easy thing to do.
Overall Red's Jason, Dom, and Jan combined well and formed a formidable midfield / striker formation. CH frequently helped by pushing up on the right side.
Unlike last week there wasn't much to be seen of Zach, and today also Jun was far from his usual strong performances.
