Hope you recover well . I think was that point when you asked for a foul and the opponent played on and said was not a foul . I did not see that event but just heard it . Probably was tying my shoe laces .
Moritz did you recall this happening ?
Hurt me with the Truth but Never Comfort me with a Lie
Whites kind of lost stamina after 30 mins and Reds smelled blood when they got back into the seemingly lost match goal after goal!
At first it looked like a crushing defeat for Reds, Whites had some great and fast combinations that Reds couldn't resist. Jake had some excellent shots on the goal, and the attacking combinations were very compelling and creative.
Reds got angry after the 4:0, got lousy goalkeeper Raj out of the goal and onto the pitch to reinforce the stumbling defense, man-marked Reds striker and attacking midfield more tightly, and fought their way back! Chapeau especially to Babs and Jan, great fighting spirit and never giving up!
Was very annoying to loose after such a lead! However, somehow we all got tired and it didn't click anymore. Our midfield was somehow too high up and didn't fall back fast enough so that Whites often had more players attacking together then Reds defending.
Jye told me I should have picked more younger players with better stamina, but when we were drinking our well-deserved beers after the match I couldn't see any such player in the white team, only Desmond 😜😂
Timmy, I also don't recall seeing this foul or noticing your injury, otherwise I would have reacted. Luckily it sounds like it's nothing too serious, but get better mate! 👍
Good tight game, final score was 7-6 to Whites who came back from 4-0 & 5-2 down to turn the game round.
1) Sorry to hear about your injury Timmy, hope your feeling better. I never heard or even saw the incident, did you ask for a foul Timmy? 2) Sorry to disappoint my captain, I guess 1 goal & 4 assists were not enough for him sadly Perhaps I would have had 5 assists had he finished the through ball I gave him with just the keeper to beat in 20yeards of free space with no one around him! 3) Thank you for being the beer sponsor Moritz, we enjoyed it whilst uncovering Jye's flashy brand of Under Armour underwear on display! 4) Thanks to Raj for making the game a challenge by letting in 2 goals through his hands, legs & then going into defense and letting in another 2! I think he might be right that he is a striker now (just not when he's in 1 on 1 situations through on goal with space and time).
