Before the game I admit i messaged Raj about the strength of Reds line ups which was wrong so apologies to him for that. Before the match pitch side there was some further concern between a few of the Whites players and Jye commented to Raj who cealry was fed up & snapped back for us to basically shut up, which is a fair comment.
The actual game never went as expected or as the concerned Whites thought it would as we pretty much dominated the game from start to finish. It was a terrific huge disciplined tactical effort built on great positioning, covering, work rate and closing down to force mistakes and rushed play from the reds. Reds main chances came when they were 5 nil down and threw caution to the wind and hit woodwork 2-3 times, but Whites themselves hit the woodwork 3 times throughout the game, and time was called once Whites score the 6th and final goal from a corner to win comfortably 6-0.
Given the power of Reds personnel it was one of the best team performance's I have seen/been involved with in circa 7 years of GIFFA football, every player unbelievable. For Reds it was disjointed, slightly predicatable offensively, a combination of Whites perfomance on the day and not really clicking.
MOTM: All 8 White players as one of those rare days where the whole team were in perfect sync and harmony.
