The alternatives to Friday nights for an extra game are Saturday mornings or Sunday nights.

As a pitch is available, I will try this Saturday, 10 to 11 am, 5-a-side, at Premier Pitch @ Khalsa. I will change the first post above accordingly.

However, due to the F1 weekend, we did not have enough players. Even our regular Saturday evening game, which is usually very popular, was cancelled due to lack of players.

I will continue to try to get a Friday night or Saturday morning game going. They will be 5 or 6 side, at Grandstand (Premier Pitch or Rainforest) or Khalsa. Players can indicate their interest below. If there is sufficient interest, I will follow up each week on WhatsApp.

To allow female players, players between 18 and 21 or male players who do not meet the minimum standard for our GIFFA-defined games to put their name down themselves, this thread is on the OPSAGE board instead of the GIFFA-defined men's games board.

This thread is for the Friday night game.

The first of these Friday night games (for 26 Jul 2019) have been posted on the schedule board.

As Female and U-21 players have the same priority as PRG players 24 hours after the schedule thread goes up, I do not need to keep games that are open to Female and U-21 players on the "OPSAGE" board.

However, I will keep this thread open to allow players to indicate interest in a Friday night game generally, without reference to any particular date. I have changed the subject from "Friday night game (5 or 6-a-side)" to "Friday night game".

An all-comers' game is one which is open to everyone from the time it is scheduled.  The only conditions are that players under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult, and no one under 12 is allowed.  

I am now scheduling a rolling routine game every Friday night, 8.50 to 10 pm, at Arena @ Woodleigh Park. The first one is for Friday, 6 Sep 2019.

I have also started a thread on "Other OPSAGE" to canvass interest on an all-comers' game at the weekends.

As such, I will not be following up on this thread.
