Whites took the early initiative and led, with a couple of players playing out of their usual position - Ben on the left wing-back and Ivo in midfield. The slippery ground required both team to adapt to some fast ball and the ball slowing down when caught in some light puddles. Khairil kept the pace going and Ivo managed to do the cleaning up of the lose balls in midfield. Whites took the lead after about 10 mins. Reds had chances to equalized but made a mess of the chances and were made to rue those misses.
Jeremy moving out pushed the game a bit more with help from Kah Boon and Sean but they couldn't find the net. The Whites was pretty comfortable all night and the 2 goals conceded by Whites was due to some quick movements by the Reds to find that free man momentarily to score. Reds scored a total of 5 goals with a couple of nice team goals with some easy finish. Reds was a bit disjointed and made careless turnover when attacking all night and lack of good communication. Whites had two hard-running players in Khairil and Kong who covered some distance during the game that helped the Whites with the possession.
