It rained in the afternoon but HYFA drainage system isn't good so there were still large patches of water in the 7 aside pitch. The game started with a warming up session with a few players scrapping the water out of the pitch and clearing the puddle up. It started off with an even game and it remained goalless for the first 15 minutes with both teams adapting to the wet, slippery conditions. Goalkeeping changes from both sides - Jeremy out to be striker for Reds and Lester to be keeper for Whites, broke the deadlock. A cross and a header by Jeremy resulted in the ball slipping passed Lester's grasp. Reds continue pushing and was rewarded with another goal. Whites are finding it hard to go forward as the play broke down in the last 3rd of the pitch either by slow passing or attackers not anticipating passes or deflections.
A quick kick in from Wilson and a back header from Naz resulted in a White's goal. Reds pushed on to restore the 2 goal cushion but a combination of the puddle in front of white's goal, david's superb reading, tenacity of Wilson and Lester, prevented Reds from opening the lead. A quick counter by Whites and they managed to score and made it 2-2. That remained till the end of the match with both sides missing some good chances to get a winner.
