We only got to 16 this morning. From the schedule thread: .... Late now, so I suggest: .... The player on each team with the most number of games in the current 6 month period can be captain. That would be Raj for Team 1 with 31 games and Senthil for Team 2 with 24 games. Captains can agree on colours. After a late change in personnel: .... Raj and Senthil agreed on a swap. Raj requested red. Line ups, captains and colours confirmed as follows: Reds : Ben B, Raj (c), Jon Stratton, Honda, Greg, Aschkan, Hong Whee, Tim C Whites : Martin Pond, Senthil (c), Tim T, Sajiv, Sanjay, Elvin, Akshay, Alex H Everyone, please be early. .... After the game, please post reports and comments on the game below.

Final score 7-5 to the reds.
Whites took the lead through some scrappy play at the goalmouth. But the reds came back quickly to equalize after Raj pounced on a loose ball in the whites’ penalty area.
The game then seesawed for awhile as both teams struggled in the final third. Reds came together cohesively quickest and dominated proceedings somewhat. Whites struggled to pick passes on the final third and paid the price as reds took a 5-1 lead and the whites couldn’t buy a goal.
Eventually tired legs started showing and the whites surged back. First to 5-3 upon which the reds woke up and went up 7-3 before whites came back with two more goals to 7-5. Alas insufficient time meant reds walked away as winners.
