I have pasted the below from a message involving Rugby . It’s as relevant to Football. Good if you can make your voice heard .
Please Help Save Turf City
We are about to lose Turf City to a planned URA redevelopment of the entire vicinity into residences. We have built a community around Turf City, and this will be a massive blow to all - players, coaches, families, and patrons and business owners alike.
The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) has recently released the Draft Master Plan 2019 to convert the Bukit Timah region (encompassing Centaurs Sports Park, Tanglin Rugby Club, The Cage, Rainforest, Premier Pitch, Horse City, Bukit Timah Saddle Club and others) into a residential zone.

This will have a massive impact on our rugby playing community, not to mention those from other sports and associations who will also be affected. URA is actively seeking community engagement and have released a form to provide feedback on the Draft Master Plan 2019.
Singapore Rugby Union is committed to supporting our rugby community and those directly affected, therefore we strongly encourage all players, referees, medics and supporters to complete the feedback form indicating the importance of keeping Turf City as a sporting green space.
The deadline for responses/feedback is Wednesday 24th April 2019, so we greatly appreciate you taking a few minutes to provide a response. Please see below for additional information on
