Kelvin Au can take my place. I will still come down to watch, and be available as substitute, or filler.
Several from our old games at East Coast returning. They can be on the same team? If so, I suggest:
Naren is new, so I've put him with his introducer, Shawn. Apart from Naren, Team 2 (old-timers) may be stronger, but I assume a lot of players are rusty.
The players with the most number of games over the past 3 years can be captain. For Team 1, that would be Anthony with 184 games. For Team 2, both Jamie an Niel have 34 games. Jamie can be captain as he is more familiar with the players on both teams. Captains can agree on colours.
.... To spread the benefit around more, with effect from the game tomorrow (31 Aug 2019), I will split the $2 credit into $1 credits for the first two from each team to do a report. Priority for the following week's game will only be for the first from each team to provide a report, but I will consider extending it in the future to the second player from each team to do so. I would rather the rush be to provide reports for games (which benefits everyone, and the system) rather than to be the first to put one's name down for the following week's game (which only benefits the player concerned, at the expense of the system).
I think reds were already down by the time I joined the game shortly after 9.30 pm, having been a player short. I played in goal. Territorially, Reds had the edge, with Whites playing deeper. Reds had difficulty penetrating the Whites defence and when they didn't they only managed to finish a couple of the 4 or 5 good chances they created. Whites were always dangerous on the counter, and were more incisive in their finishing, putting away about 5 more goals. I think it was 5-2 to Whites after I joined the game.
Good game overall.
I'd only been to HYFA a couple of times before, and only to the office. My first time playing there. The best pitch we have now, after change of management and refurbishment. It is important to get the Thursday game going at Macpherson, so that I can keep the pitch.

Game started with 6 v 5 and then 7 v 6 for half an hour. White was a man down for a large portion of the first half but they coped well and managed to take the lead. At the halfway mark the score was around 5-3 to White. When both teams were full, White extended the lead with many of their counter attacks leading to goals. Final score was around 9-4 to White.
