The default selectors are either the selectors from last week (if elected and playing in this game), otherwise the 2 players with the most number of games in the current 6 month period. Last week's elected selectors were Sean and Nazriee, so they are selectors again. Line ups to follow.
Line ups as posted by Sean on the WhatsApp group chat at 5.26 pm:
Whites: Naz Jeff Khai Jamie Kah Boon Kia Liang Kong Fei
Reds: Sean Keith Chin Hee Jeremy George Anthony Alex
$1 credit to each of Naz and Sean as selectors.
After the game, please post reports and comments on the game below.
From the "Keeping score & the competitive edge" thread:
.... To spread the benefit around more, with effect from the game tomorrow (31 Aug 2019), I will split the $2 credit into $1 credits for the first two from each team to do a report. Priority for the following week's game will only be for the first from each team to provide a report, but I will consider extending it in the future to the second player from each team to do so. I would rather the rush be to provide reports for games (which benefits everyone, and the system) rather than to be the first to put one's name down for the following week's game (which only benefits the player concerned, at the expense of the system).

Ball Credit: Naz.
Reds: once bitten twice shy and learned from last week game marking out khai. Whites were shy to take chances and we conceded a goal right after we missed a good opportunity on the other end - that summed up the night. Unlike the previous week where we had Wilson at the top who was able to hold and shoot the ball, we missed that kind of play yesterday. That balance wasn't in the line up for the Whites.
A couple of mistakes at the back caused the goals. Whites had no finisher so chances were all created outside the box with no one keeping up top in the danger area when attacking. Moved the ball too slow and holding the ball too long allowing Reds to always regroup and kept their shape with whites forwards not having enough craft to create the spaces.
Whites players stood in spaces and not picking up players when not in possession and defense most of the time were over-run on the flanks despite many interceptions from the defenders.
$1 credit to each of Keith and Jeff for a first report for Reds and Whites respectively. Additional $1 credit to each of Naz and Sean as captains. $1 ball credit to Naz. $1 credit to Sean for a second report for Reds.
