The game was close in the initial 20 mins with Whites only 1 goal lead despite having a lion share of possession. The unfamiliarity of play in a team with mix of new and old players took awhile before the team clicked.
Whites then went ruthless with the reds non-defending by going down the flanks and bombarding forward. Many chances were created and taken with some good team play.
Reds didn't sort out their defensive woes and whites duly took advantage. Final score 6-1.
$1 credit to each of Keith and Jeff for a first report for Reds and Whites respectively. Additional $1 credit to each of Irvin and Wilson as captains. Ball credit to Jessen. $1 credit to Wilson for a second report for Reds.
As this is a grossly one-sided scoreline, I should withhold the additional $1 credit for captains until the losing captains states whether changes to the line ups were considered. However, as this was a borderline instance, I will let it go this time.
