From the schedule thread: Late now, so I will suggest line ups. There are 4 players (Ian, Anders, Sashank and Masa) who played in our first ever Saturday Khalsa game last week, so I will keep them together this week. Bhargii is Sashank's guest, so he joins them for 5. 1 more from the rest. The rest are mainly Grandstand regulars, except for Wilson (who is regular on Mondays and Thursdays at Macpherson), and Melvin, who used to be regular at on Tuesdays at The Cage before the Tuedsay game was switched to the Grandstand, and his guest, Rio. In order to keep Melvin and Rio together, I will put Wilson with the first 5. This gives us: .... For Team 1, the player who played last week with the most number of games in the current 6 month period can be captain. That would be Ian, with 15 games. For Team 2, the player with the most number of games in the current 6 month period can be captain. That would be Stuart, with 25 games. Captains can agree on colours. After Ian withdrew due to a painful knee: Can't get anyone else. I can fill in for Ian, but I have to leave by 5.45 pm. Hope that's ok. We'll aim to start at 4.45 pm. Jamie requested red. No other comments, so line ups and colours confirmed as follows: Whites: Anders, Sashank, Bhargii, Masa, Wilson Lim, Rajiv Reds: Jamie T, Christian S, Melvin L, Rio, Stuart L (c), CH Everyone, please be early. .... Please post reports and comments on the game below.

Reds started strongly and took the lead first. The whites were nevertheless resilient and replied back soon thereafter.
This pattern continued with the reds taking the lead again and whites replying in kind till the half hour mark.
The score was 4-4 when finally the whites having the younger players began to show the difference in stamina.
Now with the whites in ascendancy they then scored the next two before the reda managed to reply.
At the 45 minute mark with score 6-5 in favor of the whites rajiv had to leave early, but it was clear the reds were now static and could no longer keep up.
The game ended 9-6 in favor of the whites at the hour mark despite being a man down.
Good clean game and good effort by both teams regardless of the scoreline.
