The Player Lists will from now on be updated at the start of each month.

The details for Member List A and Guest List A can be downloaded from the "Details" sub-board. You have to be registered and logged in to access the details.

Those on Member List A and Guest List A have played at least once in the past 6 months (since September 2010). Those on the member list are registered, while those on the guest list are not.

Although I have dropped 6 members who have not played since September 2010 to Member List B, the number of names on Member List A has increased from 130 to 134.

There are several on the guest list who have played more often than those on the member list.

As we now have 134 names on Member List A and 66 names on Guest List A, the above objective has been achieved a month early.

Dropping 18 names from Guest List A (those who had not played since September 2010) helped a lot.

I have also been changing "Display Names" to make the names that appear on the message board more recognisable.

To start with, whenever a registered member put his name down for a game, I changed his Display Name to the name used.

I have also started to change the Display Name for registered members who log in or for whom I put names down, to that previously used for them when putting their names down for games. Gradually, I will extend this to everyone who has played since the start of the year.

Each members "Username" remains unchanged, and in fact, cannot be changed. The Username is required to log in, and to access your password should you forget what it is.

I will list those on Member List A below showing just the Username for each member, so that you can access your password should you forget what it is.

I will also list those on Guest List A below showing the introducer for each guest. For guests who play regularly, it would be useful if their introducers encourage them to register.

As for Member List B and Guest List B:

The crux of the matter is that any registered member who has stopped playing, and is not even using the message board, will have their membership deleted.

Shawn Lee played for the first time last Tuesday and has registered, while Melvin Au played for the first time last Thursday and has registered, so they are both added to Member List A.

Last night, Mark T's friend Shawn played again after more than 6 months, while Dave H's friends Ode and Lionel played for the first time, so they have all been added to Guest List A.

Lionel L played for the first time tonight, and has registered, so he is added to Member List A.

By the criteria set out above, the memberships of Bret, Desmond T, Dominik, Jeremy L1, Mark L, Maxi H, Philipp A, Ron, Simon A, Tristan, Wesley and Yuchi will be deleted in April 2011.

As they haven't done at least one of the following, is there any reason to remain a member?:

* Play a game since 1 October 2010, or 3 games since 1 April 2010.
* Post on the message board since 1 October 2010.
* Log in since 1 January 2011.

If they do not want their membership to be deleted, they need only play in a regular game by 31 March 2011. For those who have played at least 3 games since 1 April 2009, they need only log in to the message board at least once by then - although it would be better if they at least posted on the message board.

If they wish to re-register after their membership has been deleted, they can do so.

For those whose memberships are deleted, I may impose additional conditions for re-registering in the future.
