Sports Planet @ East Coast.

The big pitch is available as usual. The price per person is $10.

The maximum number is 14. The game will go ahead with 12. Once the maximum number is reached, anyone after that can only be in reserve.

There is priority for prepayment, as follows:

[red]* At the cut-off (currently 36 hours beforehand for the Thursday game), those who prepay will have priority for the first 14 places over those who don't prepay. It will suffice that you confirm by then that you have made payment, even if I have not received it yet.
* If there are any withdrawals in the 36 hours before the game, and everyone else playing has prepaid, any reserve who has prepaid will have priority.
* After priority for prepayment as above, the next criteria is the usual chronological one.
* I am currently not making any deductions for withdrawals even if very late.[/red]

The main advantage of prepayment is that if everyone playing prepays, I don't have to go down to collect.

If you have paid a deposit, you can check your balance here. You have to be logged in to access that page. If you have sufficient balance, you can allow other players to use your balance, and then collect payment from them at the game.

The UOB/POSB account details for interbank transfer (via ATM or internet/phone banking) or cheque/cash deposit, and the e-mail address for payment via Paypal, are set out here. Again, you have to be logged in to access that page.

The games will go ahead even if it is drizzling. A game will only be cancelled if it it pouring in the hour before the game.

Too many away or injured this week. Rather than stretch ourselves over 3 games, I've cancelled tomorrow's game (which was stuck at 9 and didn't look like getting to 14), and asked those down for tomorrow whether they can switch to Thursday. Srini wa already down for Thursday, Sports Planet is too far for Boris, and David M hasn't replied yet, but the rest can switch. I'll put their names down for them.

Basically, those who put their names down for Thursday but not Wednesday (4 of whom played on Tuesday night), against those who were to play on Wednesday, but switched to Thursday when Wednesday's game was cancelled.

Ben, David M, John J, Kelvin Au, Murray, Srini, Stan and Wayne H have prepaid. I'm playing, so I'll be there to collect from the rest.

At 8.40 pm, Brendan SMSed me to say he had been waiting for a taxi at Far East Plaza for 20 minutes, and didn't look like getting one any time soon, so he didn't come.

I managed to pick up a player (Sauhan?) at Sports Planet who took Brendan's place with Reds about 15 minutes into the game. He was fairly good. He left at about 10.00 pm, before Wade joined Reds at about 10.15 pm having just completed a league match one one of the small pitches.
