Whites comprehensively dismantled the Old Guard of Reds - mainly because of amazing midfield play with Raminder, Rainer, Tan Wee and Elvin combining very well together. Reds had both good defenders and good attackers but fewer options for people to hold and distribute. If not for the lack of midfield the teams were qutie balanced and many of us (myself included) thought it would be Reds that would be the heavy favourites.
Whites were up 6-0 before the game became more even and then both sides generally exchanged goals from there on. Not too sure what the final score was in the end but the margin of victory was about 5-6 goals.
Ade had a man of the match performance in goal - especially at the end when he was diving around making fantastic saves all over the place.
