I received the following by e-mail from HYFA yesterday:
Come and join in the fun during Singapore’s most inclusive carnival and football fiesta yet!
Singapore United will be a celebration of Singapore’s rich diversity though the common love of sport and culture and will be taking place on the weekend of 22nd / 23rd July at HYFA, 8 Mattar Road.
You can either form a team to participate in our friendly football tournaments or come down to support the event with family and friends and enjoy the essence of local and international flavour through football and cultural activities, fun carnival games and cuisines! Please see flyer below or visit www.facebook.com/singaporeunited to learn more . . .
Keen to enter a team for Singapore own version of a 5-a-side World Cup or our corporate tournament? Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for a registration form.
Aside from the football tournaments, the carnival is the main attraction and admission is completely free! There will be some fun football activities for your children, such as clinics and fun games where you can win small prizes, collaboratively managed with S-League club Home United. There will also be a flea market where you can buy interesting and boutique items, sample local / international food and beverage, facepainting, balloon sculpting, have some fun with carnival games, and enter into our lucky draw for more prizes.
It’s going to be a great day out so we look forward to seeing you in July!
